You can get that item as dragonshard reward in the marketplace. Is it a 1 time use item? or multiple times, or once per quest? How does it work, the description doesn't say that.

Selling the dragon shards would be a much better option. I forget what size it takes for the Eladrin Statuette. I still think the plat would be a better idea.

Rest of Eladrin is large, the med and small you obviously make into XP pots.

I like to keep a rest statue when leveling for emergencies, so I keep my larges.

Three Small Eberron Dragonshard Fragments can be exchanged for 1 Medium Experience Elixir. This will give you a 10% bonus to your XP for 6 hours that you are logged in and on a quest. Or you could get that one time use rest statue or the 20 charges of Cure Serious Trinket.
That said on my server at least they sell for 25k each. As a first lifer, that 10% bonus (one time rest or 20 CSW pots) may not be better then 75k plat.

Medium shards can be traded for a Shard Trinket of Mnemonic Enhancement (http://ddowiki.com/page/Shard_Trinket_of_Mnemonic_Enhancement). That is much cheaper than 20 Major Elixers.
