Unless you're an uber inebriator, I don't recommend shots.
ESPECIALLY in a Drunken DA run.

Take an empty 2-liter Mountain Dew bottle (don't tell me you don't have one laying around, haha). Cut off the top. Makes a nice "emergency container" for any eventualities.

If you're drinking one of those froo-froo girly drinks, and you're a man, do NOT tell your friends in the group what you're drinking.

1) Take a jar of maraschino cherries.
2) Pour out juice.
3) Refill jar with rum.
4) Wait a week.
5) Enjoy eating fruit!

I (and others, apparently) find some vodka to be quite oily. Something acidic and/or salty cuts through it nicely.
Lemon zest, olives, peanuts, pickled beans... lots of things work. Think of anything you've seen in a martini - they're not just there to have an excuse to use tiny swords! :D
Also, if I have even a single beer and try to do that "protect the crate" quest in the harbour, I get dizzy and have to lie down for a while.

Ah ok.
I've made martinis at home and used Tabasco olives or hot banana pepper slices.
So...I guess pickles are acceptable...

OK, now my curiosity has been piqued.
I will now have to try vokka and pickles.

You do realize it is spelled "vodka"?
Unless you are talking about some Swedish alcohol I do not know of.

Straight from the freezer.
In small sips.

Of course, but I prefer to spell it like I say it.
Vokka. Wodka. Wotka.
Depends on how much I've had to drink at that time.

You must drink better vodka than I, then.
Or maybe it's just me.
At any rate, salty + sour + vodka = win.

Naahhhh - bourbon. Rye whiskey if possible. (At least those are easier to spell!)
And make sure the bottle is within reach.

Holy crud you too? For some reason that quest makes dizzy as hell, even without the beer. My friend makes fun of me. I thought it was just me. Weird.

I find this statement to be true.
Also the higher the proof, the easier the Tomb of the Tormented gets.

Pacing, is the key.
Do not do as my friend did this past Saturday. Never open a 5th of Jim Beam and throw away the cap.
I actually do great at twitchplay when I am drunk to the point that I am closing one eye to see straight. My muscle memory just kind of takes over when I get hyped up and I get a sort've boozy zen thing going. Its the same in pure action games, my bunnyhops are actually the tightest when I am wasted beyond recognition and my aim becomes rediculously accurate...and flying irl when I used to do that which I probably shouldnt have mentioned.
(in the bush up north 100's of km from any semblance of civilization so dont get your panties in a wad)

A couple of friends and myself ran 4 drunken quests in a row a few months ago, and 3 were flawless.
The 4th one however...not so much.
