Ahh... Giant Hold was new.. when last I loaded up DDO...
I have returned to the land.. of the ultimate character customization.
I dunno how many of the old gang is still around.. from those days, but I'd love to join up with a lot of the folks from those earlier days of DDO.. when Turbine.. experiments with a new aggro system.. and the game become unplayable for a few months.... ahhh.. the good old days :)
I know my toons are out of date... and none of them have heard of this "crafting" stuff :)
I'd love some help TRing my main guy so that he can be born again into modern DDO :)

I guess i should also mention that I'm looking for a casual guild that primarily is Pacific Time Zone.
As I travel heavy for my job during the week.. and would mostly play on weekends.

Pacific as in Australia? If you promise to stop using ellipsis' I'm sure some help could be given on a number of fronts.
Ok, here's a list for you:
**what character(s) do you have?
**what do you want them to do?
**have you resub'd?
If you want to TR a character you will first have to level it to 20. If you have used +2 tomes (not sure if they were available in your day) you may want to wait until update 13 as you'll be able to keep them for your TR.
Good luck :)

Ya, sorry I'm talking West Coast US Time Zone :(
Unfortunately, I've got the "-" in Sadus due to a account hack.. and someone reserved the name Sadus so when I got restored.. I guess they added the "-" to Sadus's name.
Thanks for the reply though.. and good advice about the TR.
Yep, +2 tomes were unbound for a time.. then removed from the loot tables.. and made raid only.. I'm unsure if they can be unbound rewards or random loot again.. as I've seen some on the AH.
Also to answer your questions.
**what character(s) do you have? (My characters are in my Sig.. Sadus- (13 Pal/2 Rog), Valone (15 Soc), Vazoom (15 Bard) rest are basically name placeholders)
**what do you want them to do? ( I'd like to get Sadus TR'ed maybe into a Barb or Fighter, Valona I think I'd like to get TR'ed into a WF Soc or Pale Master Wiz, Vazoom will prob becoming my Crafter or Phazer (currently 5th level Art))
**have you resub'd? (Yep, paid for VIP)

I'd suggest as step 1 being to level 3 original toons to cap and start raiding. Make sure they aren't broken too (con is not a dump stat?) Get to 20 and start running Shroud, I'm sure things will fall into place once you have some capped characters farming for you.

I agree here. I personally can't stand alts really, as I invest a lot into just a couple toons, but multiple toons eases the shroud grind :p

IM from the very old crew and still around kicking all though i was from reidra. Welcome back make what you like play the way you always have and enjoy. Do not become an elitist just enjoy the game dont worry about capping or grinding makes the game not so fun.

roll a new toon and experience all this from the start, then level your toons.
the whole starter area was redone awesomely.
so many of the low level quests have changed a bit, as well as a lot of the way our toons worked.
after gianthold came the orchard of the macabe in the necropolis
next came the vale and the shroud raid
then came the reavers refugee and dragon touch armor crafting
then came amrath in the plane of shavaraath.
then they added crazy crafting all over the place, quite a few mods including many new low to mid level dungeon groups like one with a medusa.
guilds now mean something and have awesome buffs.
so much.
I would start at level 1 and check it all out, go vip for 3 months and enjoy.
oh, and the ddo store can get you things you need, things you do not need, and suck your wallet dry
edit: and all the servers merged, then they added servers.
epic questing and crafting
all sorts of other mods and updates..full game now.
