Effects do stack, like Vorpal and Shocking Blow.

I haven't seen stacking of vorpal + Assassin III or vorpal + manslayer or manslayer + Assassin III yet. But others, like shocking blow + vorpal, definitely do stack.

I've seen Assassin III and Manslayer stack on Live. Not sure why this was in the Lammania thread in the first place, actually...

Its making my brain hurt too... However... (For everyone else.)
Manslayer and Vorpal do stack, of course, you'll only notice them stacking on Humanoid Targets (There's a very specific list found HERE (http://ddowiki.com/page/Humanoid)) and if the Target has less than 1,000 or fewer HP.
That's right, you can double Vorpal Elves with your +1 Vorpal Sickle of Haggling! :D

I think the point was stacking on mobs with more than 1000 hp where they inflict the +100 damage instead. So if they do stack it would be +200 damage which is a significant boost.

Yeah, i thought the same. It doesn't matter if a mob is insta-killed by my Assassin III or Manslayer or Vorpal weapon cause it will be dead anyway. What i was refering to is that the extra 100 dmg if a mob has >1000hp is not stacking. So if you have Assassin III enhancement, Ring of Stalker on your finger and wield Chaosblade instead of seeing 300 bane damage on natural 20 you'll only see mere 100 damage.

My experience, as said above, is that Assassin III + Manslayer would show two different "packets" of 100 points of damage. So, they were "stacking". In fact, the best way to test this was to blind humans in IQ, and blind giant-kin like trolls elsewhere. One mob is vulnerable to Assassin III Vorpal + Manslayer, and one is vulnerable to Vorpal, but Immune to Manslayer.
So, you'd end up on one mob seeing Main Damage + Sneak + Supplementary + 100 + 100 (Not necessarily in that order), and on the other you'd see Main Damage + Sneak + Supplementary + 100 + Immune.
I guess I need to get a Vorpal weapon some time and check stacking.

In the process of trying to check it right now. So far, I've found..the guys in IQ Elite have too few HP >.< Making it a pain to try and check. The minute I use a Power Word : Blind scroll on them, they pretty much drop HP so fast from the additional SA damage that I can't do much to them. I did find out from a non-blinded mob, however, that Manslayer + Vorpal stacked.
I'll keep looking.
Edit : Epic Bargain of Blood was more productive. Video Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvjEsiatGAw), kick it up to a higher resolution for best results.
Mob used : CR 34 Blood Tide Skirmisher, Hobgoblin. Hobgoblins are fine, because they are indeed one of the mobs that fall under the Humanoid (http://ddowiki.com/page/Humanoid) template.
Pause somewhere around 11 seconds into the video. You will find that there is a point in the combat log with three separate "100 points of damage". It doesn't describe each, but I think that may just be how my combat log is set up. Regardless, you can easily see that a single attack roll produced all three effects. It also shows up overhead on the mob, with 100 on a line, 100 on a line, and then the third 100 showing up on the line with the Base + Sneak + Supplementary damage.
Conclusion : Weapon Vorpal, Manslayer, and Assassin III Vorpal Stack. Shocking Blow? No idea. I'm guessing it does, since it is fairly different from these three insta-kill abilities.

It's cool man. I have to refer back to that Wiki page constantly on not-human mobs to remember whether or not they "count". And I almost never use Vorpals, so I had to go and test that out, anyway.

Thx for the vid and putting on the combatlog: I can't see where your hundreds come from.
