There's a small minority of DDO players that like pink weapons and armor.

There's a small minority of DDO players that like playing non-Artificer ranged toons.

Perhaps the developers thought these groups overlap a lot?

It is tradition in ddo, and its one of the reasons I love this game.

The absolute topnotch gear usualy makes you look a complete ***.

of course why its effecting longbows is any ones guess ;)

If you actually take the time to upgrade it...it isnt pink after.....earth turns the same green as a mineral GS! not sure about others colors.

How are rangers gimp? Rangers = DPS, right? I always see LFM's looking for dps with the ranger icon up, but not the rogue. :p;)

If you actually take the time to upgrade it...it isnt pink after.....earth turns the same green as a mineral GS! not sure about others colors.

I did just upgrade it, and it did cover the weapon in a greenish... hood. It now looks 57% less pink but is still embarassing if you look closely. I just hope future tiers will cover my shame better.

I was actually rather disappointed that the quorforged docent changed from fabulous hot pink (which went well with the lucid dreams arm plus a captains chapeau) to an icky teal green when unsupressed, and had to put a cosmetic skin on it to cover that up...

I don't mind, I know they aren't the same, but some people may take offense in it, and the mods do see it as a bannable offense, note; after some warnings.

I now want to borrow an Alchemical bow just so that I can take a screen shot with it on my WF caster with the Quorforged Docent of Battle (not upgraded).


I actually have two Quorforged Docents - one upgraded for normal use in quests and one not upgraded for when I play DDO while my 3 year old daughter is watching. She always asks me to get my pink robot. :)
