Need to help please

OK I have a dreamsplitter on my level 14 acrobat, it has been upgraded with a seal of the storm reaver, and I would like to upgrade it in the dreaming dark. I have farmed out the essences on my main, but I cant enter the inspired quarter with a level 14 character. I am wondering several things:

1. does upgrading the dreamsplitter in the dreamforge bind it to character or will it remain bound to account?
2. Will a friend be able to use a braclet of friendship to teleport me to the dreamforge after the run dreaming dark?

If the answer to 1 is no, and 2 yes, would anyone be willing to spend some TP to help me out, PM me and we can work out a deal.

1. Yes. Items become BTC after upgrade.

2. No. The area where the dreamforge sits (and where you have the end battle) is "locked" to prevent changing characters yourself as well as calling friends in to access the dreamforge.

Edit: Is the whole quest locked like that or is it just the boss area?

Dreamspitter upgrade only adds Holy, so it may not be worthwhile for it to become BTC just for that.

I know I am regretting upgrading my Terror...because it only added Intim.

Just the boss area is locked by the forcefield. So providing you are level 16 and flagged for the quest you could go in and hide during the end battle after all other mobs are dead. Even Casual grants access to the dreamforge.

Even without Holy, the dreamspitter would be a nice q-stave in the Vale (I think).

A lot of stuff has DR x/good, so upgrade that sucker to holy.

Doing this upgrade binds it to character and is worth it if you
are serious about stick usage.

Oh to be sure, the upgrade WILL happen, I'm just trying to get it early lol. I'll let you know if it gets both.

Can't use a bracelet inside a quest/explorer area.

And you will LOVE the 'Spitter on an acrobat, more so if you have a dark monk splash for fire-dark-fire.

I’d also be interested to see if it can have both force burst and holy.

I've asked that question twice now and so far haven't received a response. Pulled a Dreamspitter recently on another character, and have a seal of the Stormreaver in the bank. Still not sure if I'm going to try both upgrades or not unless someone (dev or otherwise) indicates that they have tried it and it works. (Honestly, I expect it works fine, but sure would be nice to get some proof first...)

I plan on posting here with the results... Unfortunatly I am a slow leveler and it might be slow... If your interested in speeding up the process, running with more focused players tends to speed it up alot, if your willing look up sticksmasher on sarlona, I have about a level and a half to go before I hit 16.

Just wait for the final upgrade. It'll be fine, Dreamspitter with "just" the force upgrade is sweet enough especially at level 14 in the Vale. You don't want to be too good!

Also, maybe wait until you get a second dreamspitter before you make it BTC anyway, just in case.

The order for crafting is irrelevant, but my progression was the following.

Old Dreamspitter + 5 Elven Relics ==> (Upgradable)
Upgradable Dreamspitter + Stormreaver Seal ==> (Force Burst)
FB Dreamspitter + 6 of each Dreaming Dark Essence ==> (Holy + Force Burst)

A friend with a previously unsuppressed Holy Dreamspitter converted to Upgradable via 5 Elven Relics at the Stormreaver Monument. This upgrade did not remove holy or an applied adamantine ritual.
