So i recently TRed my main Graype on Ghallanda. this is my 4th life, and I have tons of gear available to me, as well as a very high level ship for buffs. I throw up lfms as "elite streak, ip, byoh" and accept the first 5 to hit it. Several times i've run into a person sending me a tell, "save me and my buddy xxx a spot please." Sure. Not a problem at all. The problem is when they join the group, they wanna take over.

They say things over voice or in party like, "we should do hard, i've already done elite." Or we should go do xxx quest instead, it's better exp/min."

I don't care about either scenario. If you've already done elite, you can come again, or make your own group for a hard run. If you wanna farm deleras for exp, make your own lfm. I'm running it once for exp/favor/streak and moving on to the next.

I don't need help for most quests in the game, certainly not at low level. The lfm is there for folks that can listen, at least make an attempt to contribute, and want to run things the way the lfm says they are being run.

Tl;dr don't join an lfm and try to take it over. Make your own if it's not what you want to do.

/end rant

So much ranting.

There is actually a small chance that developers (or even someone related) reads if you are complaining about game design or posting bad suggestions. However, ranting about the players is not even closely as useful - at least not here in the forums. You are only contacting like 1% of the player base and they are probably behaving anyway.

Well, /signed anyway.

He advertised it as a rant. I don't know why people bother to complain: don't read it if you don't like rants

And /signed...

So, you're saying My Way of the Hard Way?

:p

Not sure if this warrants a rant... It would've been perfectly acceptable for you as the leader to just say "no, we're going to do what the LFM advertised". And then boot them if they continued to be trouble.

It's also perfectly fine to ask people to keep it down if they just can't shut up in the voice chat. If they just want tho chitchat with their friend, there's external voice-chatting programs that would spare everyone else listening in on the convo.

Why join the LFM as advertised if you don't want to do what was stated?

I was not posting for suggestions. It was a rant, as mentioned in the title. It was simply venting my frustrations with pick up groups levelling a tr. Thanks for the input though.
