Reading the forums I have noticed many threads around PUG's and how terrible they are, well I would like to give my viewpoint on this.

I played DDO a few years back and recently decided to try it out again. Since I was originally on the old EU servers and moved to NA, my highest toon on this server was lvl 6.

I played with him to around level 9 but found his skills/build lacking so decided to roll a new toon up.

This time I rolled a Wizard and am having great fun, currently level 11.

So to the point of the thread :

I have played in many PUG's and bar one or two I have had a great time. Most people are very accomodating and generally great to quest with.

Of the few bad times I have had, I can honestly say some were my fault. Not reading the LFM details properly caused me to get berated in one PUG, I accept that was my fault.

So thank you Thelanis for giving a returning player a great time overall, to those who I have offended by my noobness - My sincere apologies, especially to a certain Von 5-6 Raid group that was super understanding when I died with a lag freeze. You guys and Gals are the ones who make the game worth playing!

Regards

pick-up group

Like you go to a public park with a basketball court and have a pick-up game. You're picking from strangers to put a team together. That's the term used when putting together a group through the Grouping tab. (rather than through your guild or userchat channel.)
