I was wondering, how much does the CHR modifier help a rogue? seeing that skill is chr based, It got me wondering about mixing with a sorcerer, instead of a wizzard.

Im currious how much that chr bonus would help a rogue. How high does the use magic ablity need to be before it is no longer worth putting points into? would you want the skill 20 or 25? Or even higher? would a chr of something like 25 be worth it?

Ideally, you want your total UMD to be 39 so you can throw no-fail Heal scrolls (http://ddowiki.com/page/Use_Magic_Device)

Sorcs that max out their Charisma don't need to splash rogue to get 39 - just some good gear will do the job.

The classic 18/2 Wiz/Rog with a dumped Cha of 6 can get no fail scrolls just as easily.
