Ghost of a Chance xp

I am currently running a 3rd life cleric up the ranks. Currently at level 7, rank 40. This time around I have been running a few quests for xp that I ran for favor while leveling this and other characters.

Have cleared most of the level 5 quests in the game. Was looking at the ones I have not completed and came across Ghost of a Chance. I vaguely remembered this one - took a gander at wiki - its the one with the guy in the cage surrounded by a huge puzzle. Then I read the xp break down. A 200% bonus for doing the puzzle. Intriguing.

So I was wondering what the xp would be for finishing this on Elite, with a full BB streak in play. Am I calculating the xp gain correctly?

Base xp elite: 1,388
Optional xp: 1596
Solve puzzle xp: 2776
Total xp: 5,760 xp (1388 + 1596 + 2776)
First time elite: +80%
Bravery Bonus: +20%
BB Elite Streak: +25%

5,760 x 150% = 8,640

5,760 xp + 8,640 bonus xp = 14,440 total xp

anyone confirm this or am I waaaay off base in my calculations?

I don't think the optional xp is modified by streak bonus. I'm fairly certain is just a function of the base xp, but it's modified by experience pots, voice and ship buff.

You forgot to add in ransack, conquest and the other bonuses you can get, though.

So it would be (1388*bonus % + 2776)*other xp bonus.

Don't quote me on that though.

I thought that might be the case, with only the base being modified. Confirmation from someone who knows would be nice though.

As for the above calce, it does include all optionals - ransack etc. but you are right i did not include the 5% voice, 2% ship and 10% (or 20%) xp pot in the calcs.

Still going to run the quest and see what the final xp turns out to be regardless. Will let peeps know what the final xp for the quest was, and what add ons i was using at the time.

1388x2.25(+quest bonuses)=3123
+1596
+2776
=7495
(+global bonuses)

That's just for the bonuses you listed. Conquest, ransack, etc. bonuses would be added to the base quest XP multiplier. Voice of the Master/Mantle of the Worldshaper, XP pots, and ship XP buffs get added on at the very end as global bonuses. So assuming you get 25% in other quest bonuses and 7% in global bonuses, that increases the total to 8391.
