Is it any with greater chance at hard and elite or does it only drop at certain difficulties...like at least hard or higher?

Drops enough on Epic that you see one maybe every second run.

A lot of named items in that pack are believed to be 4%/8%/12% n/h/e. I'd say 12% is likely on EP too.

That's what I was going to say. It seems like a pretty common drop.

I walked away from one epic run with 5 of them because no one wanted theirs.

Red fens, Into the deep quest, Demons chest.

Optional Hezrou end fight (Demon of the Frenzied Blood) in Into the Deep, the "capstone" quest of the Red Fens. Note that on epic, it is not optional, you have to kill the Hezrou to get the epic chest.

Note that Souleaters are not bound at all, so they can be found on the AH. They also don't drop dampened, so you don't even need to do that upgrade to them like you have to do with several other Fens items.

Ahhh...I forgot they are unbound....I am a traditional wizard and don't use MT....so I am a bit of a Qstaff junkie and I am trying to put together a nice collection for my next TR.

I'm on ARGO BTW...ty for the offer....guess I will look at the AH as I am already busy trying to get my last three Staff of Shadows...bloody things only drop like once every 4 chain completions LOL...oh well at least I have all the Marks I need and the weapons to combine them with. :D
