Hi, maybe I'm dumb to never notice that before after all thoses years but on named monster I often see very low damage beside a yellow (golden) icon and the elementals or the aligned damage doestn hit.
Whats that?

Sounds like a "grazing hit". You need to raise your to hit bonus.
Edit, to explain better: Grazing hits happen with ranged and melee weapons when you roll a 10-19 to hit, but it's still not enough to beat the monster's AC... they do much less damage, and special weapon effects won't go off. Basically, you're shooting at a monster that you would need a natural 20 (critical) to hit.
Things you can do to raise your to-hit bonus (with a bow):
-Raise your dexterity
-Find an Attack +x item
-get a bow with a better enhancement bonus
-get a "bane" type bow for whatever creature type you're fighting (counts as a higher enhancement bonus that stacks with what's already on the weapon)
-Point Blank Shot feat, and move in closer
-get a higher Base Attack Bonus through levelling or multiclassing
Hope this helps!

to add to chees' answer, the yellow numbers are probably affected by a monster's DR
to clarify: low lvl zombies usualy have DR5/slashing so any weapon u use that isnt a sword or axe (IE, slashing weapon) will not bypass that DR.
arrows are considerd piercing DR, along with certain types of other weapons (rapier etc)
i think the only DR/piercing currently in the game is with spiders in vale
also, if u didnt know, some higher lvl mobs have a combo of DR (like good+silver or cold iron+good)
hope this helps
