This has probably been done before and I know its similar to the emerald build that someone has already pointed out to me.

A tank with improved evasion, hp in the 600's, highest threat of any twf'er, great saves, and physical damage reduction of 15%. Is probably very ac capable but that never been something I was after.

UMD is maxed out and concentration is almost (22 ranks). The build will be a longsword user and take advantage of earth stance 3 with fist of iron and divine sacrifice to hit x3/x4 crits very often. I plan to put a lot more of the calculations below when I get it all added up.

A little light on the hp side. I wouldn't want to tank horoth with this character.

Anybody wanting to do an AC calculation would be a great help.

I'd go handwraps, Alchemical will still let you get your insight 4 AC and stunning 10.

My friend has a build very similar but she went helf, has absurd healing amp and I believe has tanked the LOB on epic. Excellent tank from what I observe.

I'm not a big fan of the LOB but it has crossed my mind. I would probably switch out sf:umd for imp crit bludgeon if I decided to play with handwraps.

Also after getting a toon to level 90 in crafting and see how borked handwraps are still, I am going to try to stay away from them.

Updated second post containing some calculations. If anybody can do an ac calc, I would appreciate it.

Also still looking at what to get for end game gear. I will update when I get a good idea of what I want still.

If I remember correctly:
- eClaw is 20% threat
- Threat is additive
- Divine Righteousness & DoS stance are both sacred threat bonusses and prolly non-stacking.

So the best you could get is more in the order of 215%

i have a similar build that in stance sits at 858 hp 12 monk/6pally/2ftr and is human for some serious healing amp an arty can fully heal me for 860 with scrolls while i'm in earth stance.(1034 in fire and jitz if i remember correctly)

Has 40 str and 34 con in earth stance with 3 piece abishi set but will be dropping 15 hp off the base to pick up ninja spy 1 because 25% miss chance that works on raid bosses is too good to pass up.

Was light for the longest time and enjoyed getting 5/9 per hit from fol but with the stances and threat gen the 250 point tods seemed to work much better.


Have not lost aggro yet even to a dotting caster since switching to dark but i do have a 62 intim hot swap item if it does happen.

With fighter haste boost df dm dr hv4 tod and divine sac going it's a ton of damage to put out in bursts and holds aggro easily plus healers love a tank they can scroll heal through just about anything(or fvs free heal).
