+3 is the highest from vendors and iirc +4 is the highest you can loot from chests.

Look at Crystal Cove hats. It is already there. If I recall it is :
+5 natural ac at level 9.
+4 natural ac at level 7
+3 natural ac at level 5
+2 natural ac at level 3
+1 natural ac at level 1

The Yugoloth alchemist can sell Essence of Despair, which includes Barkskin 4 among other effects.

The Cannith Challenge vendors can provide Barkskin potions of a level I haven't checked.

and that's why I am asking. I am currently wearing a +4 natural armor / + 10 intimidate cove hat. but looking to swap over to Minos for the +HP and hvy fort. rearranging a few other items gets me within 2 AC of where I was with the cove hat but nothing else I have has built in natural armor.

so looking to see how cumbersome it will be to drink pots or farm for the few items that have natural armor. of course, any of those items would cause a big shuffling of items and not sure it's worth it.

was hoping you could buy +5 pots, as much for their length of time active as the extra +2 AC.

not able to get to Yugoloth yet but forgot that the House C vendors now sell some pots. will check them out to see if they might be higher than +3

Dont know if this helps, but arti levels increase the level of the pots you drink - both duration and ammount
