So I just finished one of the longest and worst run of elite devil assault ^^ This run took 187 minutes, including the time I had to wait for a GM help.
Actually, when I started this run I was thincking about doing a suicide run. There was no good lfm up and I was really bored so I tought: What would happen if I try to solo elite devil assault? I took time to get ship buffs, then I ran to quest entrance.
The first wave was easy I charmed the devils, maked trash bats and scorps dance and it went so good I decided to continue my run even if I known other waves were far worse.
Second and third waves went well, I got incapacipated when I got tripped by some bezerika, but I made a lucky roll and been able to get back in the fight with no death!
The third wave boss was something... My bard is not a DPS toon. My bard is a crowd controller and have only one offensive spell: Greater shout. I took 30 minutes going behind a pillar and getting my sp back with spellsong vigor and hitting the fire elemental with greater shout.
I shrined, buffed then was ready to do wave 4! Everything went really good it this one, charmed orthons, laughed at the face of the mobs then took the boss down will the help of the charmed mobs! Oh and the only problem I had here was sp management, so i took a major mne pot.
Wave 5 went better than wave 4 except one problem... FINAL FIGHT: U NO TRIGGER?!?! I had to wait 8-10 minutes for some GM help (Excellent and fast help, I love ddo GM) before the boss fight started.
Then the DoooOOooOOooooM started!
Took 45 minutes. Wand healing myself with displacement and doing greater shout. Running across the room getting sp back and I finally finished him.
This was my story and im happy to had it on my first try even if I was just thincking about a suicide run ^^
