When you use a guest pass on someone:

1) Does the timer stop ticking when they come OUT of the adventures it's designated for?

2) Is it to the account or the character it's used on?

1: Keeps on ticking like Timex.
2: For the character.

Note: its been a while (months) since I was last "guest passed" into something, its possible I'm wrong.

1) No, the timer starts upon first entry, and then continues even while out.. only pausing on (I think...) log out.

2) Its per character. I actually tested this.

EDIT: Ninja'd

Been using quite a few guest passes recently, to get to 1750 favour on a (nearly) F2P account.

1. You get asked if you want to use the guest pass when you try to enter the content. This can actually be confusing if you enter the content via a dialog (e.g. Threnal) as the guest pass dialog may be hidden behind the talking dialog.

2. The timer counts down wherever you are, unless logged out.

3. When it times out, there are a few things that can happen:

a. If you're in a quest, you can stay in the quest. Do not exit and try to reenter ...

b. If you're in a wilderness, you can stay in the wilderness. In theory, you could max your Lammania slayer in the Vale with a single guest pass due to the respawn point with the spiders and earth elemental (unless there's a limited number of respawns there - I've never hit the limit but haven't tried too hard).

c. If you're in a public area, you can stay there and interact with NPCs, but won't be able to enter wilderness or quest areas.

d. I don't know what would happen if you were in a quest in a wilderness area and recalled after your timer ran out. Would you end up in the wilderness area? What about somewhere like Threnal where the quest reward is in the wilderness(ish) area?
