Just ran a Schemes of the Enemy on hard. I never saw the Peacemaker. I was never able to target the Peacemaker. But our party eventually beat him down anyways, our healer and another dying before we finished. I mentioned not being able to see or target the Peacemaker, but the rest of my party didn't comment on it as being strange or unusual.

Is this WAI? We can't see Invisible Stalkers either, but at least we can target them. The only way I was able to find the Peacemaker was to run around looking for the shots he was firing at us, and then flailing away at thin air until I ran into an invisible barrier. My damage never popped up, although it showed up in my combat log. At least I had the curse of healing to show that I was actually hitting something and not just flailing away at an invisible wall.

It's not my graphics, or at least it shouldn't be. I've run the quest before on my sorc on normal difficulty, and I could see and target the Peacemaker just fine that time.

I think it has to do with True Seeing.
In Running With The Devils, the twilight stalkers in there can't be seen unless you have True Seeing but you can still run around blindly until you see your damage numbers pop up.

Except that I can target the Twilight Stalkers, even if I can't see them. And I can see the damage I deal to them pop up on my screen, even if I can't see them.

On second thought, it could be because the Peacemaker was too big and the numbers floating above his head were out of sight on my computer monitor, but that still doesn't explain why I wasn't able to even target him.

I get this as a recurring error with the client on occasion - certain enemies become completely undetectable and unselectable. You can still damage them, if you look where your friends are swinging, but you'll see no damage numbers. Notably this tends to happen with some bosses in the sharn series for me, though I imagine it can easily vary. A client restart will fix it, but obviously if you're fighting a boss this isn't an entirely appropriate course of action.
Just a pain.
