Multiclassing a rogue

What do you find to be the best build that includes rogue as part of the build? (I was considering wizard/rogue but the general opinion seems to be that this is ends up being nothing more than a gimped wizard).

not really.

only in quests where you have spell pen in the high 20's or more

yes, i like my wf wizzie better pure then rogue, but she was hardly gimp as one.

some other builds that i have seen are

13rogue 6 monk 1 fighter

13 monk 7 rogue

18 fighter/2 rogue

10 rogue/10 rogue (awesome synergy here!)

18 pally /2 rogue

I enjoy my WF 18Ftr/2Rog. Evasion, Hate Tank, Duo Kopesh, freaking awesome. :P

I've got 2 builds for you:

First (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=353750) is my current character which I'm having an absolute blast with. I give up assassinate DC and some DPS vs 0% fort mobs for effective tactics (stunning fist/blow/improved sunder) and better DPS vs high fort mobs (~50%+). In reality though I really gain DPS vs 0% fort mobs as 99% of them can be stunned so I'm getting +50% damage to them.

Second (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=4222913&postcount=10) is an Arcane Archer Acrobat II Rogue with 10k stars. This is a brilliant combination I think with a lot of potential.

Wizard18/Rog2 or Wizard17/Rogue2/Fighter1 : if you want perfect DC based caster, go pure wizard 20. This versions work better if its more battle mage then caster-ish caster.

Bard16/Fighter2/Rogue2 : melee, battle oriented Bard.

I've seen you mention 10k stars in some of your build posts... What does that refer to?

I checked out that 2nd build and think I am going to give it a try. On the first build, how would the character being 1st life rather than 2nd life affect the build?
