Guild Renown Small Guild Bonus Thresholds

The Six Demon Bag is a guild that is comprised of 6 RL friends that play together on Orien.

Just the other day, I extended a guild invitation to my alternate account that my son occasionally plays on (really, it's more "rarely" than "occasionally").

When I did so, I noticed that our usual "round" guild renown bonus was off by 5, or so. Typically, we would get very round numbers with guild renown. It didn't take me long to puzzle together that the 7th account with active membership in our guild was what reduced our guild renown bonus.

So, not happy with the reduction (and considering that my son almost never plays), I logged into my son's account, and removed the guild membership.

However, we're still getting the 7 account bonus instead of the 6 account bonus.

Is there something I'm missing? Is there a resignation "time out" period that I must wait until our guild is reaccessed for size? There are no longer 7 active accounts in our guild - I'm just not sure I understand the rules here.

Old accounts still count on you account total for 4 weeks.

When someone is booted or leaves, their "membership" affects the Guild Renown formula for 14 days. It says that in the description if you hover over your guild level.

We're at 47 now. Looking at getting a "real airship" soon at 50. It's been tedious, but not terribly so. We've been playing for almost 2 years now.

Dude, he barely reads, let alone plays! :p He is in no way making use of guild resources.

He can have back in when he plays more frequently. :D
