best guild renown locations

I was wondering if anyone knows where the best locations are for getting renown, I do not want any exploit locations I just need a good location for my new guild to farm. Please any help will be good we have toons in all ranges.

Just quest actively at an appropriate level. That's probably the best advice that you'll get.
If you make it a point to farm specifically for renown, then it will begin to feel like work. Then when you eventually get to a point where gaining levels becomes slower and/or more difficult, then it will *really* start to feel like work.
So just quest actively and enjoy the game. You'll get there eventually. Don't make it feel like work. Continue to play the game as a game and just have fun. The levels will come.

I was using the excuse of trying to get an eardweller to do the inspired quarter quests at high difficulties for the renown end rewards. But then I got an eardweller surprisingly quickly. So am now using the excuse of gettging mindsunder discs to churn out the renown end rewards.

If you have lower level people also looking to get renown, then running hard or elite quests near level generally produces good renown rewards.

^^ That is solid advice there. Your first 6 or 7 levels will fly by, after that it will slow down. Anf that is if you are solo leveling your guild too.

Anything I think it is 5 levels or so under you, you won't get much if any renown too, if I recall.

Quest end rewards on elite will often give impressive trophies as well.

This. Farming renown is silly. Just play the game, and choose renown over other options when its 500/1000 amounts.

But, gun to my head, IQ2. Trophies and Legendary victories drop a TON there as end rewards.

Epic end rewards are lackluster, amraths take too long, vale quests as well (and walk to and from quest for end reward). IQ1 isn't bad either, but quests are a little bit longer on average.

IQ2 quests besides dreaming dark are ~5min, very easy and have quest givers right nearby.

Honestly? Any quest with a lot of chests, that can be run quickly. At or near the cap (but especially at 18), Raiding the Giant's Vault (19, solo quest, in the IQ2 pack) is a good choice (5 chests in 10 minutes is a lot, for most people anyway), and will likely net you a decent amount of plat and/or essences (depending on how many items you break down). So I'd say it's worth ransacking every week regardless.

Beyond that, I kinda agree with the "don't farm it, just get it as you go", with one caveat: if you are close to a milestone (level 50, for example), then it is probably worth focusing on that until you get it. Just keep in mind that 45 might feel close to 50, but it *really* isn't. 48, though, is getting close enough to tease...

Get the 10% renown pots from the house C Challenges. Then do IQ2 if you are high level but i find i get most renown after i TR and do the low level quests in harbor.

Run quests with lots of chests at your current level.

Epic Party crashers ( all optionals for 13 chests) and Shroud (12-15 chests), for level 20s is by far the best renown in the game, those 2 quests are where Over Raided got most of their renown. You can gain between 20-50k renown a run depending on guild bonuses.

Irestone Inlet, Haverdasher, Redwillow Ruins, Gwylans Stand, Giants vault, and Tear of Dhakaan are great at level as well. Farming rares in your level bracket is also a great way to get renown.

Basically run the quests with the most chests at your level, and ransack the chests that can be gotten to extremely fast. Haverdasher for example is 2 chests in 1 min.

Other than that just play the game a lot. You can usually get 3-10k an hour just questing depending on guild size.
