Hypothetically speaking, what number of Greater Essences would I need to:

~Trade in for a Greensteel Blank? (Khopesh/Greataxe or Armor)
~Epic Scrolls? (preferably Chrono/Fens like ones.)
~Large Shroud Ingredients?
~Flawless Scales?


I know what each essence costs individually, more so interested to find out if it's even reasonable to trade those two items. Thanks in advance!

2500 for a gs blank s a bit high considering essences are 400~500pp on ah x 2500 is 1 mill plat for a gs.. is just a bit high.. thats just my opinion tho..

Some people are selling essences cheaper tho like for 200~350 pp.. but personally i wouldn't. collecting 2500 greater essences is a lot harder then running some vale quests for a day and getting some base ingredients.. Lots of those quest you need to run anyways for the experience.

If i were you i would collect tons of em like a 10000 or so and go to someone who really is into crafting and is willing to fork out some good scrolls like gloves of the claw for instance. If there willing to up there crafting enough the sky is the limit ;).

Most people sell essences for 300 plat each and that is IMO a fair price. Sometimes i pay 400 plat if iam in need of some fast grreater essences but i would never pay more then that. SO lets see if a GS at 2500 greaters really is that expensive, 300 * 2500 = 750,000 wich is lower then the AH price that someone said was 1 mill plat.

I will sell FRDS for 2000 greaters wich is a fair price i belive, i value a FRDS at 650,000 wich means a greater essence is then worth 325 wich is 25 plat more then i normally pay.

People who value Greater Essences more than me will likely give you a better deal. However, my Green Steel Blanks are superior to theirs because it was in my possession. This is unfortunate news for you, because the price just went up! Welcome to free market!

Large:

-Devil Scale = 1100/each
-Sulfurous Stone = 500/each
-Twisted Shrapnel = 500/each
-Glowing Arrowhead = 300/each
-Infernal Chain = 300/each
-Gnawed Bone = 125
-Splintered Horn = 75
