Used to do it on normal but this run wanted to complete on elite for slightly better chance on optional chest. Had to use 1 major pot.

As seen in quest log only thing left to do in order to complete the quest was to talk to him, as kills show I did all the work then put up lfm. The two people in the party were added after so I could get more hands on the optional chest.

Very nice!

I havent done the quest in a long time, what strategy did you use for the undead beholder? Thanks :)

Sorry for the late reply. As a PM I didn't have much trouble against his drains, mostly it's that weak dot that damaged me and the mobs. Disintegrate almost never did full damage. As of strategy nothing mind boggling, I have around 25 str so i took a bludgeon/disruption beater to waste the optional mobs and occasional firewall when anti-magic is out of range. And I progress him trough floor levels with 2 or 3 full disintegrates. For self heal use neg. burst only or circlet of hatred from Abbot if out of sp.

Disintegrate almost never did full damage.
If you weren't using it already, Bestow Curse helps.

I meant his, helps a ton all that investment in CON so I got very decent fortitude save :)
