Best and worst Spells

I remember when I first started playing Glitter dust was horribly annoying to use is it still that way?

For a level 2 spell it's actually pretty powerful, especially considering the fact a lot of low level stuff is melee....blindness means -50 percent chance for an enemy to hit you if I am not mistaken.

If your talking about animations....yeah it can make things a little hard to see even if your friendly.

Best: Haste. Benefits everyone, run speed, attack speed, more DPS, lasts 4 minutes, cheap for what it does.

Worst: Spawn Screen

Worst spells in game to have loaded? 80-90% of divine spell list. THere's a reason divine's just spam implode, destruction, and blade barrier.

Best spells to have loaded? Most if not all of the arcane spells.

Worst Spell: Grease
Everyone 'loves' to small over themselves when you cast grease in Misery's Peak, some random Harbor Quest, etc. Many mishaps becaue of Grease.

For all the Suffering the spell causes, I do like the idea of having some spells or effects that are double edge swords for the party. I realize you can't have a lot of spells like Grease as parties would end up killing themselves (imagine launching a Fireball and torching your Tank, repeatedly)

I think you nailed it right there. There's nothing more amusing than throwing Grease at the worst possible time. I know a Caster who greased himself accidentally going in to kite trash in eDeeps, another that's done it in Part 2 of ToD, and my personal favorite, in Abbot on Rocks. Of course, anyone that manages to fall off in Rocks even after being greased has no one but themself to blame. :D

I do wish you could have friendly damage... I'd love to see a Barbarian accidently killing off everyone an axe length or closer to him. Not to mention the numerous times I've wanted to turn and dump my rangers Manyshot on a party member.

I love grease, its just that I am too afraid to use it often. Maybe one day, just one day I will make a greasing srocerer capable to keep every party member on their butts for the entire length of the quest. Grease is a party buff!

Best Spell: Finger of Death!!

Worst Spell: All but about 4 or 5 of the Ranger spells.

Glitter dust is a lot better than it was at launch. Im guessing that they fixed allot of annoying spells sense launch except for grease. Because if they did not they would likely be mentioned by now. I got glitter dust and looks great!
