I need these since they refuse to drop for me anywhere. They are currently around 350k / 800k on the AH.. are these really what they go for or is it just a residue of the price spike last month?

I think (AH Prices) were 300k/600k.

You've farmed Wrath of the Flame to ransack? Normally will at least get you the Blood.

Actually I only did the flagging quests, haven't done that one yet. But I really really hate farming (and I'm probably not good enough to solo anything in Amrath, and I never see LFMs for Wrath) so I guess I'll just buy them. Thanks for the pricing info. :)

A good run through of Wrath of the Flame on Normal takes 4 minutes. A "It's my first time" run might take you 15. I wouldn't compare it to the length or difficulty at all of the Amrath quests.

Devil Assault elite and epic also can drop boot ingredients. But of course Wrath of the Flame is much faster to run.

I'll check out Wrath. Thanks. Do I need to run it on elite to have a reasonable shot at stuff, or will normal do? I won't even ask about casual. :)

MsEricka, I've done elite DA many times, never gotten anything useful out of it. Epic I would love to try but I can't get anyone to take my wiz because my DCs aren't high enough. (I actually have a thread about this on general discussion atm. Not complaining, I perfectly understand why people want higher DCs, but that's just not really an option for me.)

devil assault elite got me a demon's blood. Other than that it is a bunch of amrath quests.

my keepsakes all come out of sins of attrition and highly suggest you just join groups doing that....best to find a couple people who are loot runners with good gear and knock it out in just a few minutes if you only go to the end chests.

Best to knock out the whole dungeon and get all 5 chests though if your group rocks since large devil scales and other ingredients drop there all the time....devil scale might trade for a demons blood or keepsake.

I get em on casual, norm a lot too. If I was on sarlona I would help ya out, sorry.

From what I can tell, named loot in Wrath comes (or not) irregardless of difficulty.

No idea who your characters are, but if you need I can assist you running Wrath or Devils Assault or even one of the other Amrath quests.

I certainly wouldn't want to drag people on a boring farming run for an item that's tradeable and I can in fact afford. But I'd love to get the eDA monkey off my back sometime. :)

Farming runs are great. :) After all, if we bought each and every thing all our toons need instead of running quests/raids for it, we'd quickly be broke.

I woke up early, couldn't sleep. I've got a run of Wrath of the Flame that I'm currently encoding - took me five minutes, boo. :( Anyway, I'll post a link when it's uploaded and processed on Youtube.

Some notes:
Kill Cleric, run.
Kill Cleric, run.
Kill Cleric, kill trash.
Free Archon.
Kill Cats.
Run to Lightbringer.
DoT Lightbringer until she reveals her true form.
DoT that.
Wail Tieflings.
Kill other trash.
Shrine.
PWKill Orange-named boss.
Kill Barbazu.
Pull levers until you get correct Lightbringer.
Kill everything in room.
Loot. :)

Edit : Youtube Link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO1MnIQi5FA). Video's still processing, but should be up in a little bit. When it's completely done processing, should be available in beautiful 1920x1200 resolution. :)

I need to do Wrath and Weapons Shipment for favor on my wizard (and hey, any chance for a Bauble would be nice).

I used to do EDA a fair bit, but my go-to healer for it has gone inactive. I have a few guildie healers who are quite capable of doing it, it's just a matter of finding time. I'll look for ya next time I try one.

Wrath is quite easy to solo or solo+ hireling healer, you just need to know who to kill right away... after you kill the fake Lightbringer, all the soldiers fight for you, making the middle battle really easy to do, just bring the trash that spawns up the tunnel back to your big back-up group, since they wont follow you. It might seem confusing, but once you've seen it done it all makes sense.

If you see Anarod in game, let me know. I can muster a few Crate and Barrel guildies to run Amrath quests - particularly Weapons Shipment - and you're welcome to come along.

Also run Shroud when you can. I got a blood as an endreward the other day, so I guess they added boot ingreds to the endrewards too along with all those small and med. ingreds.

Why you want to punish Qaliya like that?


Oh, I picked up blood for about 110k, my guildie got it for 50k. This was within the last 2 weeks for both of us.

Best bet is to just run wrath, it's quick enough, but otherwise, remember prices fluctuate a ton on boot ingredients so check early, check often :D.

The 3 groups I have been in could have been lucky but 3 runs of elite bastion getting alts flagged in a row dropped 4 bloods each run.

Yeah my Shroud completion today had a long list of smalls. :) But I did finally get an LDS from a Shroud chest, so that was nice.

Thanks to TDL and MsErica for looking me up and taking me on a couple of runs this evening, really putting on a clinic. They helped me unlock Yugo pots and TDL even passed me a Demon's Blood that he got in Wrath.

The excellent people are why I like DDO so much. Thanks again. :)

Sorry, that ship sailed for you weeks ago when you started helping me with crafting shards. :)

I did keep checking the AH and last night, among all the offers of 700-850k for Devil's Keepsake, I spotted one at 400k. Might have been able to do even better while waiting, but maybe not, so I snagged it. Now I have my boots and am looking forward to trying out ToD.
