TR's UNITE!

Hey guys, I created a chat channel today for TR's to get together regardless of guilds, etc. I figured it was about time we had a place to go where we know people are sympathetic to our XP requisites, I mean, we all know there's a few areas in which we are seriously up-tight, and really only other TR's get it. So I created this chat because I'm sick of solo-ing everything on my two TR's (granted one has a TR group but that's besides the point) and I know many of you just like me want to be sure when you have a spot that needs filling it's someone you can rely on to be a good player and not screw your XP, so, with any luck all of us will be able to hop over to TRtalk and see if anyone in range wants to tag along. Anyways, just PM me for further info. I hope to see loads of people in TRtalk soon!

Here's my thing, the existing channel is a Zerg channel, as stated many times over, I hate zerging, it's **** xp and it's more of a grind in my opinion, and I don't care if people just want to pop in to chatter, the idea of this isn't to have a place where you can find a group, AND THAT'S IT!! Rather, it's intended to be a place where you could find a group, or just chat with some friends in the channel, get pointers for your next life from people who've already done whichever class you're going into, etc. If you don't want to join then cool, I won't get my feelings hurt or anything, but I am tired of elitist TR's who only want to play their way, by zerging, or excluding people from their groups because they don't have X equip or spell memorized, I made this channel for those of us who TR'ed for the fun of it, it's not about powering to the next level, it's about enjoying the ride to 20 at whatever pace you like. I'm glad there's already a channel for the zergers out there, and if you're big on the zerg to completion and repeat style, by all means join that channel, I'm not considering myself in competition, I don't play in that style, most of my many TR'ed friends don't play in that style, and I'd just rather not be expected to heal a zerging group, or disable their traps. (my current TR's are a cleric and a trapmonkey) I'm not intending to say anything bad about those players, I have run with a few and from my experience they're awesome, but it's not my style, if it's not your style then I created this channel.

In closing, it's a game, it's not serious by it's very nature, this is a channel for those who want to TR and keep TR'ing, but still have a sense of whimsy in the process.

Again, really not trying to say anything bad about any other players.

even though it states it's a zerg channel i have ran with a few people in there that are a more relaxed tr type of person but with the same goal in mind / get xp / it doesn't mean you have to run a quest 10 times like us crazy people but if you need help with a quest or are looking for a somewhat like minded group its a good channel to go to and there isn't anything wrong with you starting another one , just thought maybe you should try out the one that's already in place before you do so and if you have then never mind ;)

Heya Zee.. Glad to see you got this up and started.

I have checked out the other TR channel... Tbh it's kind of intimidating as most that use it are players I've heard of, and they're like the creme de la creme of players.. Which, while I'd love to run with them, at the same time there's the fear of looking like a complete noob lol. (Also, I am a terriable zerger.. tend to get myself killed in very stupid ways when I attempt to zerg).

I think it's time to do the humane thing and euthanize the attempt. The last couple times I looked at it, it had zero people. Zero. Compare that to a dozen people in the other TR channel at the same times.

I run my TRs quite a lot and would call myself a light zerger. I like to be efficient, split up when possible, but I don't sweat people dying, and I generally like to max out the optionals as I don't like to re-run the same quest more than a few times unless I'm close to leveling or farming an item.

Your channel sounds interesting. I'll check it out.

I dont want to start any drama here, so I will just mention this quickly

I have not turned anyone away from any channel.

All I ask is people read the OP for the rules as to make sure that they are joining a channel that will benefit them. I also dont want people joining who are going to be de-railing away the purpose of the channel (which was made to form quick zerg groups for questing). If you sent me a PM saying that this channel is not right for you after reading the OP again, then yes I have not sent you the info (this is why I ask everyone to re-read the OP). But everyone who has said that they still want to join and that this may be a beneficial channel I have send them the info.

Sorry just wanted to make a comment because from what I read it seems I was under the impression that I am ''turning down'' people from the channel, which is 100% absoultely false.

I do appologize if it came off as insulting Unreliable, I didn't know if that was the case it's been ages since I sent the PM, but I don't want any unclear ideas of what I think of people here, I have nothing negative to say about Unreliable or his channel, things are picking up here but Unreliable if I'd be welcome I might still like to join your channel as well.
