I would like to create a +45HP item for my Barbarian.

My current items are these:

Helmet: Minos Legens
Necklace: Necklace of Haggling +11
Trinket: Sustaining Symbiont
Cloak: Stormsinger Cloak (or any Charismatic +2 Cloak of Greater XXX Resistance)
Belt: Awanahu Sash
Ring: Dexterous +4 Ring
Ring: Disease Immunity Ring of Spell Resistance (19)
Gloves: Fabricator's Gauntlets
Boots: Cannith Boots of Propulsion
Bracers: Fabricator's Bracers
Armor: Fleshshaper's Brigandine
Googles: Blindness Ward Goggles of Battle Skill

I will not run a lot of epic content. Instead I will reincarnate to a Rogue
and maybe also to some other melee classes in the future.

Now my question: Which slot I should use?

As of now I'm thinking about Necklace or Ring.

I wouldn't miss the Stormsinger Cloak, but I don't know how to replace the Greater Resistance cloaks?
I think googles are also a bad idea, if I reincarnate into a Rogue. I already have Tinker's Goggles and Tinker's Gloves
and I would like to use them.

Advices about a good clicky and guard for the GS item are also welcome.

I went cloak when I first geared my barb, about a year ago. If I had it to redo now I would go goggles, as there are some nice epic cloaks out there, and I still have not find a set of goggles that I cant live without. Currently wearing Thanes Goggles, which would be nice to switch on when Im hitting held mobs, and the HP goggles on when tanking.

It does not have to be a single item. My ranger has Vacuum II goggles with +20 HP on Tier 3, and I plan to make Existential Stalemate necklace with +10/+15 on first 2 tiers.

Generally the goggles spot is a good location for everyone except a rogue.
So with the plan to TR to rogue I would go necklace, there isnt really much for a rogue necklace spot.

I would recommend Min2 for the heavy fort and +5 protection and 2 clickies of stoneskin.

I did goggles on my fighter, I think it's a pretty good spot to put it for melee types since there really aren't any "must have" goggles for most builds.

I had avoided goggles because I hate begging for True Seeing and Tharnes or Sandstorm goggles are the only True Seeing items I know of apart from the Spyglass--and I don't want to lose the trinket slot either, that's even more valuable. What other items give True Seeing that can be slotted elsewhere? Or is the only option to dump True Seeing?

I had always done gloves, which was a good plan till the epic Gloves of the Claw came out...

Staff of the Seer (http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s220/jgould2005/DDO/Items/Weapons/StaveoftheSeer.jpg) -- although only lasts 9 minutes and can be dispelled.

Everything else I know is either goggles, or a staff you must actually hold to get True Seeing (as opposed to clickie).

Well, I picked up a spyglass for true seeing. IMO you don't need true seeing all the time anyways. When I see something that is displaced, I throw the spyglass on for a second, kill it, then put my other trinket back on. You could go with a cloak GS hp item, but I like the epic cloak of night for the cloak slot personally.

Other than goggles the only item that has TS is the spyglass iirc.
