Hey guys, been trying to find this info somewhere, does anyone know how long the arcane archer imbues last?
I've tried timing it without success, but then I'll go afk for a while just sitting on the airship or in town, and I'll come back and it's off. Not really that big of a deal, I was just curious.

that's odd. my understanding was that they last until you log off or cast a new one.

It doesn't have a timer... but it will disappear when you shrine... maybe it also disappears when you go afk, I don't know.

They do not disappear when you go AFK, but if you have friends with Kormor's belts they do tend to get dispelled.

I have had mine disappear randomly, but i assume it is getting dispelled. Normally they disappear when you rest at a shrine or tavern, also qhen you enter or finish a quest.

There are parts of the guild ship which count as a tavern, so it's entirely possible that they were ended by a "rested in a tavern event".

It does not do that. Only shrines/death or long enough logout to reset your buffs.
edit: and quest entries...

Imbues last for the following durations:
Outside of quests, they last till you cast a new one, die, or enter a quest.
Inside of quests, they last until you shrine, cast a new one, die, or get dispelled.
If you randomly loose the imbue inside the quest, you got dispelled.
If you leave a quest and enter a new instance (like recalling from the vale quests into the vale itself) you loose it. If you recall into a public instance, you should keep it (iirc).

Right, if your ship has a barkeep, it counts as a tavern. This way wizards and other casters can change their spell slots while on a ship without having to go to a real tavern.

IME you also lose the imbue (but not other buffs) if you DC in a quest.

Not normally. At least, I never have.

There was a time period a while back where you would lose all your buffs, but that was fixed.

I had it happen earler today; my two buffs were still up, but imbue was a goner.
If you're not seeing it, then it's probably something to do with my running the game using Wine. The DCs I mention are actually when the DDO window vanishes (leaving the blue virtual desktop), and I have to force-quit the process.

Yeah, uh, wouldn't know. I've never had/seen that.
