Challenges BTC Ingredients

I must say as some one with far too many characters in this game the fact that the challenge ingredients are BTC is very disappointing.

This mechanism discourages game play and I hope it is looked at and remedied.

Since the items appear to be BTA, it seems to me that it's encouraging people to use a toon that will be the most successful at grinding.

I agree with the OP. Restricting ingredients to BTC is making things less fun by encouraging you to only run one toon in the challenges. Last time I checked, I play this game to have fun and less fun means... well... less playing eventually.

No, it's to PREVENT players without the pack from getting multiple free runs per day and combining them onto one character and being able to make an item quickly. Given a choice between preventing freeloading and providing a benefit for paying customers, guess which they picked?

They could have added code so that if you own the pack all the ingredients are marked as BTA, and not owning it leaves them BTC, but that would have been more work.

or they could have made it like all other packs no pay no play but because of the price they want they give out free samples.i wonder how thats working out :)

There has to be a better solution this is severely discouraging play. Once you have your stuff on a given character, you never need (want) to do these again. At least if ingredients were BTA you could help out friends and maybe make something for another character.
