I have a question about the lottery. Are the actual entries are listed per toon, or per account? I.e. if there are 1000 other entries and I enter with 4 toons, does each of my toons have a 1/1004 chance of winning, or is it per account and my account has a 1/1001 chance of winning, and if I win then 1 toon at random (from those that I checked) will get the prise?

Thanks

I can't pretend to know the inner workings of the draw system, but I enter many lotteries accross most servers and based on having, say 2/6 characters on one server both winning the same lottery and each getting a prize, 1character = 1 entry.

Also uncisclosed are the number of prizes for each draw that are given out. I won a true heart on one character on the 9th, but I have no way of knowing if I was the only winner or one of 7, 11, 21, or 3000 winners.

Unfortunately you can't answer the question based on how often your toons win as in both cases each toon (who enters lotteries) will win about the same amount of time as each other toon. Only those who know how the lottery is set up can answer.

I suspect in some lotteries the number of winners was based on the number of enteries. At one time I was winnning Tasty Hams at the rate of about 1 winning entry for every 5-10 enties. I was even winning the same lottery on different toons.

Was it the Tasty Test lotto? That particular one was a guaranteed win on each entry after there was trouble with the system. I have also won the same lottery on different characters on the same server as well as the same lottery with multiple characters each on a different server.

Just adding data to your sample base, but I'm lead to believe that information regarding the inner workings is unlikely to come from an official source. Developers have mentioned that the playerbase is always doing unexpected things and wouldn't want to reveal anything that might, even with the smallest mote of wax on the eyebow of a termite's chance, allow "gaming" of the system.
