Need help. Can anyone guide me on how to create a good warchanter? A halforc or a dwarf is my choice of race. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

Need a bit more to go on: pure or multiclassed? THF or TWF? 28- or 32-pt build? Any tomes, twink gear, etc. to pass along? Etc.

I'm A little scared of multiclassing right now, so I guess a pure warchanter. I am now gonna TR a toon so I can use 34 points in his/her stats. No bard gear.
I'm just curious about the weapons that I have to use. I want a great axe but a bard isn't naturally proficient with it. Should I get the greataxe or greatsword feat at lvl1 or just keep the master's touch on my shortcut bar until I receive the warchanter 2 benefits? Is it easy to build a TWF party rocker?
A good guide up to lvl20 will be highly appreciated, if its not too much trouble for you. Or just some links where I can study more about this strange class.

Don't spend a feat on the martial weapon proficiency feats; cast Master's Touch as it will last until you rest. It's still good for keeping even at Warchanter 2 as there may then be other weapons of other types that you want to keep for various reasons.

the axesinger sounds pretty much like what you want.
you can modify it to pure, and masters touch will give you the dwarven axes too if you decide to go twf.
as a dwarf i'd prob go 18 str, 16 con, and 12 charisma spare points in int or whatever you like.
as orc, 20 str, 14 con, 12 charisma, spare points wherever you like.
you won't be landing spells, but I assume your not trying to based on your race choice. your spells will be used as buffs and healing.
feats will be kinda tight pure. toughness, triple thf or twf feats, weapon focus slashing, and power attack. doesn't leave much for some goodies like extend, quickening, and empower heal.
adding TWF is doable but harder on stats.
Human would help a lot, giving you an extra feat, and some yummy skills.

I am really intrigued by this idea. I have a collection of great axes, although not so powerful like some epic stuff that i read about.
I am thinking about a dawrf wielding two dwarven axes. Is it possible? Can a newbie like me succeed on this kind of path?

You didn't mention what you're TRing from, but for this build it doesn't matter. While leveling, you will probably need to put some APs into CHA enhs to have enough to cast spells. By lvl 20, though, you can drop them: 6 base + 2 tome + 2 capstone + 6 item = 16. Alternatively, you could move some pts out of CON into, say, CHA & INT. Skills: definitely max UMD, Concentration, and Perform; remaining pts can go wherever you like.
For multiclassed options, have a look at my Kublai Khan (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=312489) build; or for a rogue splash, the Axesinger (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=195289).

Great axes on a pure bard? You want something akin to a Classic Rocker (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=249865). Human, Dwarf, Half Orc-- all are solid options.
I have a Half Orc version with:
Toughness
Power Attack
Weapon Focus: Slashing
Two-Handed Fighting
Imp Crit: Slashing
Improved Two-Handed Fighting
Greater Two-Handed Fighting
It leveled wonderfully, though at 20, I'm thinking I'd rather have the metamagics recommended by Anthios in favor of the THF line. DPS versus stronger support abilities is the eternal balancing act for melee-specced bards. Look at the post linked above, and try to understand why the build decisions are what they are. Then you can tweak them to suit the balance you personally want to play.

I want to take you all for taking the time in helping me. I think I will just have a TH bard for now since it is much easier to handle, then just switch to TW when I RT for the third time. All the posts are really helpful and I even had lots of info from the links you have provided. Hope to see you in the game soon! My toon can be easily identified in the game since he will be the only one with greensteel hair (easier to craft than those other greensteel thingies) :D. Have a great day!
