I usually never recieve lag but lately I've been getting it... recently, Khyber did a full reset and booted our party out of an instance.

I had take 5 seconds for anything to register full on lag in freaking Waterworks (with no warning bad connection graphic) earlier. *sigh*

On Thelanis this morning I had just finished Von4 (I died and was back at the spirit binder on the boat to Sorrowdusk) and ran to the harbor to level up. I did level then I ported to the crafting hall and received that 5% chance of the world suddenly turning pear shaped and as I was falling I did my portal again and was frozen at the loading screen for 5+ mins. After those minutes I decided to cut my losses and reload DDO upon which I logged in outside Von4 telling me I was dead. UGH!!!! I had to redo everything I had done in the previous 10 mins because the game rolled me back right after the point the quest had ended and when I logged on it only knew to chunk me out of the instance back to the front door.
This lag, and now roll backs, is getting frustrating but luckily the rest of the day went well in the game.

Cannith....for the last 5-7 hrs on and off. I run a completly clean system for DDO. Lag just spiked again in the Vale. Earlier it was so easy noticeable in House Cannith, running the pre-req's for the raids.
CC ramped up lag. Perhaps the wonderful challenge system at work again?

Lag has been unbearable since the update. Ran a VoD last night where we were all standing in place. This is getting ridiculous.

The lag I'm getting isn't much different to what I usually experience.
Except for an instance yesterday where I was stuttering about. I checked the latency box thing, which had popped up, and all the numbers were so big I thought my pc was going to explode. Or my head. I logged out, took a break and haven't had again. Weird.

It's been bad for a while now but it was far worse today. I had two characters get stuck on loading screens to Meridia for several hours. Running quests, running to my guild ship, running anywhere - stutter steps, slide show style lag. Very frustrating.

Yep...
Frozen characters in orchard quests, ugh! GOP has never quite been so... interesting.

Recently in my guild (on argo, but i guess all servers are affected in the same way) there was a full group doing challenges while i was scroll farming in some random quest, when suddenly i see in the guildchat :
Guildmember1 has lost connection
Guildmember2 has lost connection
Guildmember3 has lost connection
Guildmember4 has lost connection
Guildmember5 has lost connection
Guildmember6 has lost connection
All those displayed in under half a second....

It wasn't as bad at 8pm as it is now, 11:30pm. Yes, most of the US is asleep or too drunk to care and yet khyber lag is so bad that I just gave up running even Deleras. It's too painful waiting a full minute for my flame turret to drop after I cast it.
And for the sycophants who say it must be on our end; I just logged off another company's MMO, in which I experienced 0 lag. No rubber banding, no disconnect between my actions and what happened in game, nothing. My system actually has DDO setting itself on the highest settings for default, and I dropped most down to minimum save draw distance.
The problem is on Turbine's end.
I'm more wondering if its server CPU load or if its network issues. If its server CPU load, theres several solutions I can see, from running a profiler to find code bottlenecks to getting more infrastructure.

Yeah, few raids wiping to lag over the last couple days, and a few quests I've had freeze server side, which is annoying as **** and causes you to walk off ledges and stuff, but at least doesn't instant kill you because the mobs are frozen too.
Gear swapping has been pretty horrible, swapping on 6 items for UMD means my game freezes for 10 seconds. Amazingly bad programming. Monkeys I tell you.
