Since quicken is broken should I just not take it? [Archive]

So if I were to TR my caster should I just skip quicken spell and get something else (like more toughness) since its still broken?

It's not broken.

The meta-magic per spell selection is broken. Don't use it for quicken and everything will be fine.

This. Just map it to ctrl-c or something for easy access.

What FastTaco said. Pain in the rear, but yeah, you still want Quicken (the reasons for taking it haven't changed)

Actually, it's not even broken with the meta-selectors. It's just a display bug that may or may not show it being applied correctly. The SP cost is correct and the effect happens at the correct time on the server, it just looks wrong on the client end.

Why do I die on a non quickened heal or mass heal when it's only client side?
