TP Differences between Lam and Live for Name Change?

When I saw the "New to the DDO Store" thread in Lam discussion, I was happy to see name changes were fairly inexpensive. 500 something for first name, 300 something for last name.

on live I checked this morning and it's 1000 for first name and 500 for last name.

is there a reason for such a difference?

Things are usually cheaper on Llama then on Live, for the sole reason that they want people to try them out and see how they work. I also think its so that there is a certain amount of buzz created by the existence of such things just being on Llama.


Quite frankly, since Points are free on Llama - they should put things up at the intended price. Or near it, if the price isn't finalized. This would help test if a thing is listed too expensively for people to be inclined to buy it. But that's just me... what do I know?

Could be that on Lam TP is free so price doesn't matter, and on live TP = $$$.
