I'm reading ALOT of complaining that the new challenges were tooo hard to solo... on the first day. There's too many threads to post in so I'm just starting my own to reply:

Point one: They are called CHALLENGES... not lootfests. Expect to be seriously challenged.... at least at first.
Point two: They are SIX man CHALLENGE quests... soloing them should be difficult.

The devs said somewhere that they made sure they were possible to solo, but stated also that they were very hard to do so, so it is even WAI.

Tips:
1-learn teamwork
2-learn communication
3-learn from your mistakes

Now go forth and conquer!

It was also said these challenges were designed for folks that didnt have the time to gather a group and run a quest.

Yeah but they are complaining that a challenge is hard. It is soloable, it's just hard to do.

It's the first day, I'm all hyped up, and my guildies are off line. I see a pug group for my level range, it fails. I try to join another one and they ask if I have a caster. It's already to the point to where people only want casters for this, and it shouldn't be that way.

I don't mind a challenge, what I mind is that for people to get it done they have to blow off the non-caster players. It shouldn't be discriminitory towards ranged and melee characters.

Your right it shouldn't be that way, but that's players doing it not turbine. I bet when someone puts out a guide for soloing them anyone and their dog will be a able to solo it.

I honestly believe that if you were toting around the loot from there in the first 2 days after release that something is wrong. Same as if we went into a raid on first day and smacked the snot out of it on epic.

If something takes getting used to and learning before you're capable of completing every run, then consider me thumbs up.
