Not really, it's not enabled yet, but in the future we should be able to upgrade our old raid items. At least that's what a turbine guy said... i think it was Tolero.

Until the ability to upgrade gets turned on I am sure you are going to need to do a few completions to get the new seals anyways.

In the short term... yes.. only new items to be able to upgrade.

For the time being screw some other player out of the item if it goes up for roll so you can get yours crafted and upgraded because your old model is not compatible.

In the looonnnggg term in some future patch not currently in the works or fix with no definitive timeframe but will probably require some token or additional cost and the stone of change update, the Dev has indicated you should keep your old stuff because it may be upgradeable at which point it doesnt matter because you have already farmed the replacement in which case you can just throw your old one away because it is BTC.

Reaver is more of a chore now anyway. After not getting madstone boots on my 40th run on my fighter I am ready to just write it off. I am not going to grind 20 completions just to get a stupid upgrade token for marginal improvements.

Yep, looking forward to people missing out on getting items because people who already had the item have to get a new one in order to upgrade it. Either that, or they have to wait until some unknown future patch/update where they may or may not put in a way to update the old items.

If you think reaver is bad, wait until someone takes a litany when they already have one so they can remove the taint of evil from it.
