Aye, I swear he is part Lemming and has a permanent death wish. Was doing explorers in Amrath and had him stand in one spot until I called him. Next thing I know I see him running off in the distance followed shortly by a *ding*.

I even checked and, yup, his hotbar was still set to stand still.


At least when I have this happen with a PUG healer I don't have to worry about paying him (buying contract) before the quest even begins.:rolleyes:

The fact that you didn't die suggests that he was, in fact, healing you, whereas you were remiss in healing him. I mean, half his sp bar's gone and yours is at full. Don't pretend that red cross button isn't in the top center of your screen.

But seriously, yeah. It's just ridiculous when a cleric hireling suggests, "It would be prudent to heal me now." Also, quicken. Please.

remember folks, it's been acknowledged... hires are buggy and are set incorrectly upon summoning. set them to aggressive then back to guard, or else they act like they are on aggressive anyway. :D
