It's ok.

Here is why :
You give Turbine $50 for a 5000TP code.
You trade that code for 5 FRDS.
=> you payed Turbine to buy 5 FRDS

This is pretty much how the DDOStore works.
Trading TP codes for items from players is simply an extension of the DDOStore.


Turbine gets your money, you get your items.
The only difference is that the TP/item rate is defined by the market, not the DDOStore team.

But it's not okay to pay someone 10k plat for a Guest Pass from the store ... so go figure.

Well the way I understand it is not allowed to trade store items for in Game Plat... But then we have essences in the DDO Store.. Those can be made into unbound Shards and sold for Plat... Just kinda a 2 way street that goes all the wrong way no matter how you turn.......
