DDO and my frustrations

Ever since I hit lvl 11 (I'm 12 now) on my WF Arty my dog became brain damaged and I think it has infected my cleric hirelings also. The dog stands there and watches be get beat down and does not try to fight. The cleric likes to duck behind corners and play dice with whichever mobs are there and just can't be bothered to heal me cause they must be on a winning streak. Rune arm likes to fire acid straight up in the air when mob is in front of me...mot so much bothered by that one though. My dog is my bread and butter though.
I have seen the threads that have said to toggle between aggresive and defensive once you enter a quest and that would be fine but they get ******** throughout the quest at different times and places. I have died numerous times due to this "bug". I know there is a "fix" comming in the next update and that is when I will restart my account again. Untill the "bugs" are fixed, I am free to play and that might not last long...Don't get me wrong, I do like this game alot and enjoy paying to play just not paying for my dog and hirelings to be ******** and cause me death.

Have you tried unsummoning and resummoning the dog? I have friends who play the class and they say this fixes the problem every time for them.

I've noticed this behavior as well. It seems to have started after they released Patch 1 for Update 11. Dismissing and re-summoning the dog does seem to correct it's behavior. It's a shame you can't easily do the same with the hirelings.
