View Full Version : 3 Weeks, 5 days, 23 hours before I can reset my enhancements!?

So I reset my enhancements on my cleric, and since I hadn't played in a while, and I wasn't really paying attention, I forgot to get Radiant Servant again; noob mistake, but I figured no big deal, I can fix it in 3 days.

I checked my timer the next day and saw that it said I needed to wait 4 weeks to reset my enhancements...I figured it was a bug, and that all would be good in time.

2 more days later, I see that Mabar event is on, and and I've wanted 2 Epic Cloaks of Night for a long time, been waiting for this; go to reset my enhancements on my cleric, who is my only 20, and got told I had to wait 3 weeks, 5 days, and 23 hours to reset my enhancements....not looking forward to Mabar w/o Radiant Servant

I completely understand if the decision was made to change the time between resetting enhancements since it was insanely low, but the fact that I never noticed the change in patch notes, and that the trainer still warns me that I'm going to have to wait 3 days makes this either the biggest **** move ninja patch, or a bug, which I assume it's the latter.

I also reset my enhancements on another character to make sure it wasn't a 1 time event; after I reset, I tried again, and was told to wait 1 month and 4 minutes before I could reset my enhancements.

Any1 know how to fix this, what causes it, etc.?

Is there any other information about this issue that you could provide?

Server and trainer you visited perhaps?

Ghallanda server for both;

My cleric used Davin Weld in the Marketplace

My rogue alt used Armoth Kell in the Harbor.

Is it a bug, or a stealth nerf?? dont feel like testing myself as all my toons are capped and would be ridic to lose one for a month for the sake of testing but if its WAI its a horrible stealth nerf...

Check to make sure that your systems time is set correctly.

Kind of embarrassed...but yeah, that worked.

My computer's date was behind, but it never really mattered to me so I never fixed it...had no clue DDO used that information.

My bad, sorry for wasting dev time, and thanks Trek.

Kinda makes me wonder what would happen if you sped up your computer clock? Not that I'm suggesting anyone try that, but it's not necessarily a waste of dev time if that causes a similar but opposite issue.

wow, it uses YOUR computer time?!? Does raid and epic timer work the same? :DIt probably tells your computer "you can use this again on x date at y time and the client uses your clock to do the math.

It's unlikely that advancing your computer clock will do anything but give you wrong times in the other direction as the server probably wont initiate the action until it's clock says the wait is over.
