It was dark and stormy night...no wait...wrong story.
I was on my lvl 17 Dwarf fighter, I had some shiny new BB axes, and a few new doo-dads to help me whup up on some bad guys.
I thought I'd try my luck in a guild Shroud run...whilst waiting for the group to fill, I'm shootin the breeze with my guildies, and gettin jazzed about running Shroud on this toon for the first time with and all-guild raid.
As we're JUST ABOUT TO GO IN...I discovered, to my dismay, and still lingering embarrassment, that I was not flagged for Shroud with that toon...
After a few minutes of much deserved ridicule and good natured ribbing from the guildies...I jump over to my main, who I KNOW is flagged for Shroud runs. After a 20 minute ordeal to log out and back in, the group is STILL waiting for me...
Turns out my main is on timer for Shroud...
Hilarity ensued. They will be giving me a hard time over this for a long, long time.
Moral of the story...don't be a noob like me. Know what your characters are flagged for (or not) to avoid such an embarrassing, yet hilarious at the time, tale of woe.
