Pretty sure I saw him hit me for 580 points of damage once. Though due to the way the numbers fly (no ss, was during beatdown), I could be mistaken. (ie, 2 attacks landing at the same time, such as 58 and, behind it and to the right slightly, 40)


This didn't affect the run (obviously, or i would have more definitive proof), but now I'm curious as to whether harry has a chance to proc a spell crit?

That would be his poison, hitting you for Con damage (not hitpoint damage).

Pit Fiend poison is instant death in pen and paper. That was translated to DDO as massive Con damage, which was fatal at the time the Shroud was introduced.

Had poison immunity item on at the time. I assume it works with his poison.

No monsters in ddo can get spell criticals. They also don't get any sort of spell boosts whatsoever. The only way they can up spell dmg is if they have maximize/empower (which arraetrikos does)

Arraetrikos spell damage:
As a level 28 caster using Maximize and Empower, though his spells all cap at CL20 or lower:

DBF: 80-120 * 2.5 = 200-300 fire damage
Meteor Swarm: 24-36 + 8-12 * 2.5 = 4x 60-90 fire (save half) + 4x 20-30 Bludgeoning (No save)

If you didn't have Freedom of Movement, and were Held at the time, it would appear like a spell crit with extra damage.

That, or the CON damage from the poison making you helpless and still giving him bonus damage to his spells.
