Hi,

I'm still working out the enhancements. Here is what I'm thinking so far.

Must have (though, I don't have an arti, so tell me if some of these are dumb):
-Damage boost II (prereq for engineer)
-crossbow attack II
-crossbow damage II
-imp rune arm IV
-rune arm overcharge II
-battler engineer
-racial toughness III
-repair manipulation I
-INT III
-CON II
-wand and scroll mastery I. (highly cost effective which makes it hard to pass up.)

Maybe:
-skill boost IV
-uncaring master?
-arcane empowerment (the capstone. Is this a good enhancement? As in, do you actually use it? If you do, can I get some examples of what you do with it? Thanks.)
-racial toughness IV (I tend to think this one is expensive, so its a maybe.)
-damage boost IV

So what's left?
-is it worth boosting trap skills? With decent INT and DEX, search, disable and open should be fine (typically). Spot might be weak and need a couple points.

-UMD? Starting with low CHA this skill might be weak, but seems the arti class gets some good built in boosts to this. I also have the 7 fingered gloves for +5 UMD already. So I'm not sure this is worth the points. I can also use reconstruct scroll automatically, so hitting no fail heal scrolls does not seem as big a deal on this character.

-wrack construct? Is this good? Would require equal levels of disable. Up to 5d6 extra damage and -30% fort for 12AP. This sounds nice, but do you feel there is enough constructs to justify this? Initially it feels like an overly expensive favored enemy.

-spell boosts? One point in repair is a no brainer. 20% for one AP is a good deal. More here as points are left over for sure.
---Other elements though. How does this affect an arti? For example, I pulled glorious obscentiy that does acid damage. Do the acid enhancements boost that damage? If yes, what are the other good ones out there I need to be looking for?
---What are the good damage spells in practice? Thus which of these enhancements are worth taking?

-healers friend. I typically don't take it on self reconstructing WF. Anyone see a reason to have this? Tier I is pretty cheap afterall.

I always take healer's friend 1. It's cheap and sometimes other people heal me too.
