After examining my capped ranger's TWF sets I realized Epic Smallblade beats something in all but one of them. The one I am not sure is my "wraith/zombie chopper": GT handaxe of Disruption plus GT kukri of Disruption -- and by "zombies" I mean CR 36 zombies in Epic Fathom the Depths.

Both weapons are slashing, so break zombies' DR. Both are finessable -- Soondar is DEX/finesse build. Ghost Touch is unimportant in Fathom the Depths. Epic Smallblade is finessable, but won't break DR, and zombies are immune to crits. So should I replace the kukri with Epic Smallblade, or not?

Honestly you'd be better off making a triple positive greensteel item for thumping undead. Nothing beats it. Nothing even comes remotely close. I'd make it blunt, because skeletons are FAR more common than zombies. But that's your call.

The smallblade is...an odd duck. Most of its effects don't work on undead (expanded crit range, slicing, bleed). But it does have better dice, and as an offhand weapon, the +6% doublestrike to your main hand is a decent boost.

But bear in mind, the smallblade is a shortsword, it's piercing. Won't break the DR on any undead at all with that.

Yes. I did some calculations, and came to conclusion that against zombies you can't beat two finessable disruptor slashers.

On another thread someone recommended Sun Blade instead (finessable, yet slashing damage), but it is actually inferior to even +1 kukri of disruption.
