as the tread title... i'd like to know if mabar items like motes, lich dust, SPECTRAL DRAGON SCALES....are BtA or BtC!

Afaik, from last year the motes/ vamp fangs/ lich dust / and scales were bta, only the keys were btc. Kinda similar to coves compasses.

Edit: after checking what I had left, seems all collectibles are unbound at the moment. with the exception of the keys, which are bta. the gear/ items recieved however are btc, cloak of night...

They were unbound if I remember. Ofc they may have changed it for this time.

Edit: planning to check leftovers when i am able to. Will update then.


My keys are BtA, put them in shared bank last night, I think everything except the crafted item and the spectral dragonscales were BtA, I ran the graveyard on one character and ran the summoning chamber on whatever character I was crafting for

All BtA... I did all the farming on my cleric, then transferred the ingredients to my other toons for crafting.

Keys bta I think

Everything but the spectral dragon scale was unbound and was quite a market for stuff.

Last mabar, I bought Motes.

So Motes are not bound.

But seriously, I remember vampire fangs were an easy drop, and Lich Dust was very difficult to obtain, leading to people scouting for liches and trying to switch instances to get the killing blow just for the chance of looting some.

Not just Motes, but the actual collectables that you traded for Motes[1] -- black opals, chipped skulls and cursed fingerbones, -- were unbound. Vampire fangs too. Spectral dragon scales and keys were BtA. Not sure about Lich Dust.

[1]Motes are ingredients, not collectables, and go into green bag

Motes definitely weren't bound, because I didn't even play when Mabar was here last and still have some motes of night I picked up in the guild chest!

Yeah motes and fangs are defin unbound. I couldn't tell you how many LDS I got for motes when Mabar first started. Loved it! :D
