There's a truckload of discussion about the increase in raid difficulty and just about everyone seems to be concerned about collateral matters .. "too hard to build a party" .. "healers aren't raiding anymore" ... "new players are being excluded" ... "drop rates haven't increased". I'm not sure I've seen anyone complain about the actual difficulty yet.
It seems that the bitterness is mostly relating to healers having to suck down pots to complete the quests. So why not get straight to the point? In order to get raiding / pugging back up to speed .. we need more mana pots.
I reckon the "buy your pots from the store" model is out-dated. There are tonnes of non-subscription players (such as myself) who don't want to flush money away buying mana pots, and I'd bet that the subscription players don't like burning their TP on mana pots either. So can't we get something else that'll make people want to keep playing?
In game mana pot purchases? Higher chest drop rates for mana pots? A new mana-restoration item? Perhaps make the SS ring not unique? Or some form of crafted mana item?
I know that the store-bought mana pots are a golden ticket .. but, imo, if people aren't running their healers through epics rather than buying the pots .. it's an epic fail.
