Would a build like this make a viable character to bring in most groups? I mostly play with friends and our rogue rerolled so I was hoping I could fill the missing role while still being a good support character (14 bard with virtuoso for viable CC without needing the bard capstone and maxed cha and 6 rogue for mechanics ranged damage and trap skills.).
Interested in knowing if it would be brought into level 20 content or insta kicked out of groups as well.

Looks very solid to me. Not min/maxed; but a good static group toon/support toon.

I can see accepting it into end game content; with the right gear of course.

Nice job.

if your only goal is to hit traps you don't need that many rogue levels, 1 rogue is enough and most people go 2 for evasion.

I see it as being difficult to level up, your not particularly good at anything.

not good at anything is what bards are no? and 6 rogue for mechanics int damage to repeater.

Meh don't listen to him. You managed your ability points well; and you have all the feats needed. It is sad you don't have extend- imo bards are mostly for buffs and extend is expected of them. But if you are mostly playing with friends I'm sure they'll understand. Might get nit picked in raids- but just keep casting haste every 2 mins and keeping up with it and it'll be fine.

I guess I might consider just taking rapid reload and exchanging rapid shot for extend but thats a personal decision. I just know I don't have the patience or control to keep casting haste every 2 mins and dont mind giving up a little personal dps to ensure the party has their extended buffs.

Either way you go; your build looks sound.

edit: also its maxxed INT- not cha. ;)

think I could live without thougness being ranged and get extended instead ?
or Icrit/Iprecise? I would like to keep rapid shot/reload because I noticed it takes a long time before the game allows spells after a ranged attack without them.

Or drop maximize. Your heals won't do much good, but then you can drop song magic enhancements as well and get one more rank of scroll heal.

Dropping Maximize for Extend could be a viable option. Invest in a couple Ardor Clickies & use them when you think you will have to help heal. Plus you will have your virtuoso heal song going; I'd look into getting some nice healing amp going to help wit this. Not just you, but your static group too.

Nice build.

I'd agree that maximise is worth dropping for extend.

I'd say that 14 bard / 6 artificer half-elf with rogue dilettante would probably have a slight edge over this build (except for lack of evasion) but this works fine too.

ahh looking at it now and it seems that bard/arti will have more than just a slight edge think I might go with that.

12 bard, 6 roque, 2 arti might also suffice. not sure about the stacking on int on int.
should be able to scroll arti spells with that.

Naw, 6 artificer just has so much going for it and the only thing the rogue has going for (besides evasion) is sneak attack damage which can be replaced with rogue dilettante.

If only 12 bard is needed then 2 rogue can be added at the end for evasion but I think the +1 to inspire courage song at 14 I think will make this a better choice.
