It feels like it should-that whole being from 2 different sources bit.

Bummer.

They both come from items. Effects from items never stack with themselves. Two Greensteel guards with the same effect don't stack so why should this?

Holy on a weapon stacks with holy burst on a ring. That means that flaming from the set should stack with flaming burst from the armor.

Would love for the dev's to get a confirmation or fix on this ;). Was bummed when I first got my red and was one of the first people to test it out and be sad faced.

The two different sources of fire are actually the exact same, just one has a burst effect. I imagine flaming handwraps would stack with the henshin set

The henshin effect and red armor apply to all weapons so they are different than a burst ring. If you want flaming and flaming burst effects try crafting flaming burst on the henshin ring, that would do it
