With the advent of another new point buy system, why exactly have they not finished with their last attempt. Frankly I'm sure the demand is there for people who don't have paypal/credit cards. And they said they would take it into advisement, but even us Canadian s haven't actually got them yet, and we're direcetly attached.
I assume there is some kind of Customs issue, or expensive cost that I haven't seen, but even facebook games like Mafia Wars, or the famed non-facebook game Runescape for crying out loud are releasing points cards in Canada. (I'm sure other countries would be more than happy to see these as well).
If it was simply the exchange rate, I'd glady either buy slightly less points to balance it out, or vice versa pay more in my currency for what it would be in the US. Just for some conveinence where I am unable to buy points with other methods.
It's been some time now, and not a word has been mentioned further about this, and frankly I doubt I'll get any response now :P.

Pretty sure Turbine doesn't accept Maple Syrup and Beaver Pelts as currency as of yet, that is likely the holdup.

Lol, it's more likely that becuase our dollar has been overall more valuable than the American Dollar that they don't figure it'll net them any money (prolly cost them more to manufacture and ship them to us then they get from gross or net profit).
Or they aren't selling well enough in the states to even bother (I mean why bother running to a store when I have the CC or Paypal while sitting at home)

well I would bet Canada (as a 1st world country, even if you DO speak french at times) would low on the list of cards, I would assume that places where they have bigger pops but few CC would be more in line (maybe pats of asia, parts of africa, or parts of europe, I don't really know).
If you normally buy 25% or more of your stuff with a CC, I d be willing to bet that you would just buy TP online

If that were the case, they would have released them there as well. As it stands the cards are ONLY available in the US. It's not just the Cdn's up here that want them, as I stated before, seems weird that we can't get them.
Also I do 0% of my shopping with a CC. If I don't have the money, what's the point of delaying the inevitable.

Puh-leeze...... Maple Syrup and Beaver Pelts? We haven't dealt in that kind of currency in ages.
We use Tim Horton's coffee and poutine to barter with now. And real Pepsi. With sugar. :D

The Timmies I get, Poutine... Nah. Pizza though from my hometown and surrounding area. Maybe, seeing as we have the most Pizza places per capita than anyone else in the world XD. And it's GOOD pizza too.
We could also trade.... hmmm.... BEER, since apparently our beer is stronger and well liked (I don't drink the stuff though)
