If I equip Jorgundal's collar on my assassin, about how much dps increase is it over regular unhasted dps?
How much less is it vs. hasted?
Assume the rogue in my sig, Niccolina on G-land if you need to know gear to figure it out.
I'm not so good at doing the melee dps calcs as I am with casters.

If you don't have haste - it's basically 10% that's additive with Haste Boosts (so 100% becomes 110% for a 10% increase, but 130% in a Haste Boost becomes 140%, a ~7.7% DPS increase).
Personally at endgame, I'm either always hasted, antimagic'ed or in the process of drinking a Haste potion. So really for me, it's only relevant on the Master Artificer antimagic titan and in a couple of beholder fights.
Of course, you lose any other benefits of the necklace slot while it's equipped.

Personally I keep it for those situations you brought up there, or if I ever run out of haste clickies while soloing which never really happens anyway.

for soloing, prior to endgame, would you consider it worth using if I don't have extensive haste clickies in order to not have to click a haste potion every 30 seconds?
I'm trying to decide whether to sell the collar or keep it.

I suppose it would be worth it for you to keep if you have melees that your leveling up and you like to solo at lower levels.
A lot of people just chug a lot of pots though.

Keep in mind arties can put a non-dispellable attack speed haste on your armor now.

If you happen to be able to ditch your necklace in Tod it is nice becuase of the haste loss after the first 4 min

Solved by a re-Haste if the group has a bit of coordination.
Banish - boots off - rehaste - boots on.

I do this, just because after 30 odd characters and quite the number melee and melee TRs, sometimes I'm sick to the back teeth of necking a pot/clicking a clicky. So for those times, for lazy play, I have melee (and ranged) alacrity items.

you can always craft a 10% melee alacrity trinket min lvl 1(with cannith favor)
