Hello Khyber,
Returning to DDO after about a year's break and hoping to join up with some decent players interested in group play. I am not a DDO expert (hit 20 on my cleric and didn't go much further), but a very good overall gamer with a lot of MMO experience (FFXI, FFXIV, SW:G, WoW) including guild leadership and leading hard mode raids for my 10 man WoW guild through WotLK. I most enjoy playing as a healer and have been thinking about TR'ing my cleric for another go around, but would like to find some other dedicated players before doing so.
While I can promise to be a quick learner and provide a solid contributor to group play, my DDO knowledge is not vast and would need some help with some of the simpler things (IE: Crafting, raid encounter walkthroughs, "What do I need to get into CC?", etc...). I am willing to do research outside of online play (usually at work, where I am typing this). I am available most nights (6PM-12PM EST) as well as weekends, but looking to start in a more casual environment than anything with a hardcore raiding schedule.

If you'd like to send a tell or mail in game to Thaumat (2nd Life PM Wiz), Returning (3rd Life Arificer), Koanoak (1st Life Cleric) or Mokune (2nd life 2Ftr/6Pal/12Monk) (any of which I will be on most evenings 4:30 to 10:30pm EST) I am happy to talk to you more about Pandora's Box.
Some details...
Pros...
-Currently Guild Level 59 and some change.
-Large Air ship purchased and stocked with amenities available from in game vendors (ie no DDO store purchased amenities) (Thank you Selphia for the 300 Astral Diamonds you threw down for the Large Ship)
-Guild Leader (Me) is on every night.
-No pressure/Casual Gaming
-Can offer helpful game/character knowledge as well as point you in the direction of resources.
-Have no hardcore raid schedule but normally do at least one of Shroud, DQ, Reavers, Hound (and rarely VoD) most nights.
-Small guild bonus to reknown earned!
-Have a network of friends in larger guilds as well.
Cons...
-Small guild. You may only see 0 to 2or3 other people besides the guild leader on at any time.
-Not doing Epic content atm.
-I usually jump into a PUG for ToD runs and although I am willing to do ToD flagging quests I am no expert at them.
-Not running and have no plans to run Black Abbott (Accursed Ascenstion), Twilight Forge (Restless Isles Raid), Lord of Blades or Master Artificer raids.
Some of the cons can be overcome with more/better leadership. However I am fighting against...
-Increase difficulty of most raids after U11.
-The absolutely horribad loot drop rates on all difficulties of "Old World" raids.
-The absolutely horribad loot drop rates of Epic Content and the ridiculous grindy farm fest of for Epic Mats.
-The uncertainty the comes with PUGing
-Balancing a fun game experience with challenge and rewards (LOOT)

This sounds great Feral, thanks for the very detailed response! I'll send you a message tonight when I get off work. I'm used to small guild play, so I can understand the ups and downs.

Glad to have you on board Vindraxx! Had fun running CC and our 2 man elite DA excursion.
Also, thanks to Antheete who also saw this thread and after a quick meeting decided Pandora's Box was a good fit as well!

Thanks for the suggestions all! I've joined Pandora's Box and am definitely happy with the players and the support they've been able to give me in leveling, end game experience and information about DDO's systems. Would definitely recommend to any other players looking for a small guild environment.

Really encouraging to see Pandora's Box grow and prosper! The latest additions to the guild (Antheete and Vindraxx/Vexnar) have made a BIG difference not only in reknown gained but are also solid players! Thanks Fellahs!

I don't think there is such a thing as a no-fail guild.
